I was quite skeptic about arranged marriage as many of us girls are.. but as and when I met my soul mate through the same social way of finding out a pair for you, my attitude towards the arrange marriage has changed. I found that the arrange marriages are just like any marriage because we never will be able to know a person untill we are attached to him/her or we are married. Even things can change post marriage so why to upset family whom we got unconditional love for what we think is the best for me.
When there is probability of making mistakes then its obviously high when only one is the analyst for one's behavior and nature. Our parents can be wrong but so can we and the probability of we going wrong is more as when we fall in love with someone we ignore most of the basic and important things that really count in a life long run. I am not against or for to opinions but the point I want to bring is that we should trust our parents more than anyone else as they are the one who are hurt most when we are upset or not happy. They can sacrifice sometimes and sometimes they can't as they are more social to us as we hardly have started our social life before marriage.
I am happy and thankfull to my parents and god... parents as they chose me the best and god as he helped my parents in the process and happen to make best for me.
